Member for Pearce Judi Moylan said the Australian Government had approved funding to child care centres located in the Shire of Mundaring and the Town of Narrogin, recently, which will support the provision of quality child care in the electorate of Pearce.
Ms Moylan said the funding was for approved projects, as part of the Minor Capital Upgrading 2005 project.
“The Midvale Early Childhood and Parenting Centre located in the Shire of Mundaring will receive $8,690 through the scheme, which will be used towards a pergola to provide shade for play areas,” Ms Moylan said.
“Narrogin Regional Child Care Services will receive $8,844 to replace boundary fencing at the centre,” she said.
“I am pleased that the Australian Government has provided funding for these services,” Ms Moylan said.
